Fees / Costs

 

Enrolment
To enroll your child at Children’s House School the following fees are payable upon acceptance of your application:

  • Monthly tuition*
  • Non-refundable enrolment fee (per child): $25
  • Non-refundable membership fee (per family) Children’s House Montessori Preschool Society: $25

Program Options 
Children’s House offers the following programs 
(all are open to 2 1/5 to 5 year olds):

3 day P.M. program : 12:15 to 2:45 (Mon, Wed, Fri) - $220 /month
4 day A.M. program : 8:40 to 11:40 (Mon to Thurs) - $300 /month
5 day P.M. program : 12:15 to 2:45 (Mon to Fri)  - $300 /month

For families who enroll siblings in the full-time programs, we offer a combined fee of $550 a month.

Refund Policy
In the event that your child must withdraw from Children’s House, we require one month’s written notice - from the 1st of the month. In the event that a child is withdrawn less than 3 months prior to the end of the school year, tuition fees shall be paid to the end of the school year. Notice to withdraw a child must be given no later than March 1st, or tuition must be paid to the end of the school year. Because the school is closed for summer vacation, notice must be given by June 30th for the withdrawal of a student enrolled for September or refund is forfeited. Membership and enrolment fees are not refundable. Remaining tuition cheques will be returned to you.

NFS Cheques
A $20 fee will be charged for NSF cheques.

Childcare Subsidy
The Ministry of Social Services and Housing may provide a childcare subsidy for the care of children who attend a licensed preschool. Families do not need to be receiving social assistance to be eligible for subsidy. Contact the MSSH office for more information.

*Tuition includes: equipment, material fees.
